Motherís Day Tea & Brunch Fundraiser
Enjoy Motherís Day weekend at the Zimmerman-Bury Octagon House, where the gilded age is exemplified by the elegance of a Victorian Brunch incorporating the family silver tea service amidst the heirloom furnishings. Your hostesses will greet you in appropriate 1883 clothing, and would encourage you to dress for tea. A history of the house is given and the extensive buffet table will offer family recipes homemade by our volunteers, typical of the late 19th century. The afternoon will end with a demonstration on the modern cleaning conveniences of the Victorian Era.
